"Not at all" Prisma said her smile growing into a grin. Contests had always sparked her interest and here was a judge sitting right next to her, one who had judged the master class no less It was all she could do not to ask for another story but she would have to make a mental note to ask him about it later. For now she turned her attention to Heather.

    (Hello everyone! :) )

After a few seconds some rustling was heard followed in suit by muffled footsteps. The door swung with a slight creek revealing a groggy delcatty, still dressed in her robes, and trying to rub the sleep from her eyes. Prisma blinked "Arie?" She said with a breath of a yawn only half hidden behind a paw "What time is it?"
(This is going to be a ton of fun! :-*)

Not soon after Prisma turned the corner, having changed from her pajamas into a more suitable flannel with shorts, and trotted towards her friend. "You sure weren't kidding when you said the crack of dawn, were you Arie?" the delcatty teased lightheartedly adjusting the straps on her backpack.

"Isn't it against building codes not to have stairs or at least a ladder on a building of this size?" Prisma frowned a brow creasing in worry "What happens in the case of a fire?"

Prisma gave a small laugh "True! Falling to our deaths sure would have been exhilarating" Her tail gave a playful twitch before she turned back to the problem at hand "Still I have no idea where they would be. Have you seen any fire escapes Mell?"
(what if there was only a ladder? XD)

Prisma stood behind the vulpix, tail twitching absently. Honestly she half hoped there wouldn't be a way down from Melody's room. It wasn't that the delcatty was afraid of falling per say, after all cats always land on their feet, but the climbing down a fire escape ladder from the third floor just to save a bit of power wasn't exactly the brightest idea she'd had. Why she even suggest the feat in the first place remained a mystery to her though it probably had something to do with her mind still being a bit groggy from the early wake up call.

Prisma sat ears perked forward with anticipation. The suspense was killing her and even her normally swishing tail lay tence and still.
(The suspense is killing me as well haha, I'm really curious to see what happens)

Prisma sat upon the windowsill her whole body rigid with tension as she waited for Melody's response. She hadn't gotten a good angle of her jump to the ground and worried by Arie's question she had twisted something. Turning, Prisma quickly scampered down the ladder to her friends side.
    (That's amazing mon amie!)

Everyone sat silently letting Arie's words drift off. Prisma, growing acutely aware of the darkness surrounding the group felt her fur fluff up the slightest bit. She didn't believe in ghosts but that didn't stop the ominous tale from creeping up her spine and it became clearer with every passing second that no one was going to speak up "I'll try if that's alright with everyone." Prisma started slowly as to not startle any of them trying to hide her nervousness behind the gentlest smile she could muster "It may do some good to hear a lighter tale after such a... shocking one"

(That was really good if completely unexpected Silver! :D I hope we can work it into this roleplay down the line, ghost pokemon perhaps?)

    (Thanks guys! :D)
As Arabella trotted a few paces ahead towards the forest with an air of excitement almost tangible around her Prisma held back for a few seconds coming up to walk beside Melody. "Are you sure you're alright dear?" She said quietly "I can throw up a wish to make sure"
(I didn't realize that pun until I finished typing XD)

(That sounds like a great idea ^w^)
Prisma took in a slightly shaky breath beginning to relax as the story unfolded "In the region of Sinnoh lies a quaint little community by the name of Floaroma Town. Once a barren hill people and pokemon alike had come together and turned it into a floral paradise. Two of those pokemon just so happened to be a grovyle and a meganium who had been happily wed for many years. After the work had been done they had decided to settle down in the very same place they had toiled over and raise a family where they knew they could be safe from crime that seemed to plague the cities. Not soon after they had three daughters, chikorita triplets named Rose, Lilly, and Iris after their mother's favorite flowers. And as little girls do they went off to play with their friends having tea parties and playing house. One day however as their Meganium mother was just about to escort them into town a rather peculiar sight greeted them on their doorstep. There among the roses sat a neatly carved wooden doll of their youngest daughter, Rose. The doll's resemblance was uncanny and it had gotten every detail right even down to the little nick she had received in her leaf from tripping down the stairs one day." Prisma allowed herself a slight pause partly to let the other Pokémon digest the story so far and partly for a bit of a breath.

(Woh! :D That looks awesome River! How did you do that?)
Prisma shot her friends a smile "Neither can I, I think we will be the first to explore this section."
(Oooh now what is this figure in the distance? XD)

(Oh that's cool :D I'll have to go looking for one to use myself sometime ^w^)
"I do too I can only imagine how beautiful it will be once inside if this is simply the exterior" Prisma said cheerfully the last of sleep finally leaving her eyes and walking with her friends into the forest.

"I'm glad that was able to be resolved somewhat peacefully." Prisma said quietly, finally finding her voice again. All the way up to what the group presumed to be the edge of the stantler's territory the delcatty had felt the hot sting of eyes piercing her skin. She walked the slightest bit closer to her friends obviously a bit rattled by the ordeal.

“Needless to say the mother was puzzled by its appearance and decided to ask around while in town that day. So she carried it along with her and her girls asking various people and pokemon whilst running her errands with no luck. They had promised to ask around but several days passed with no word. So as one might guess the doll was steadily pushed to the back of the mothers mind written off as just some fluke. Maybe a child had just happened to accidentally drop their chikorita doll that just so happened to look similar to her daughter while playing near their house. That was of course at least that's what she thought until going and pick up one of her little girls from their friends house the following week. As she stepped out into the summer air she was greeted by two more dolls, this time of her eldest daughter Lilly tucked in the leaves of a freshly potted lily on her door step and her middle child, Iris, in a bead of irises next to the pot. The meganium studied the objects looking for a note or something the owner may have left in explanation. Her searched proved fruitless and so she hurried over to pick the girls up. While there she confided in fellow parents but they too had never heard anything like it before. By this point the mother was beginning to become unnerved by these dolls, as any parent who is worth their salt should be, visions of stalkers and criminals forming in her mind. The very sort her and her husband had thought they would be safe from. For several days afterwards the children were confined to the house under their mothers constant watch. Children, especially grass types, dislike long periods of indoors and soon they became restless. Enough so that the meganium finally gave in and took them to the park.

As the children played the mother began to relax, even beginning to chat with a few of the fellow parents. After a while she just so happened to talk to an elderly Leavanny who she recognised to be one of her daughter's friend's grandmother. They talked about things women normally do, their kids, husbands, and their past jobs. 'Oh I used to be a doll maker back in the day' the Leavanny had said with a wistful smile as she watched the children play 'I still widdle from time to time, mostly as gifts for the children nowadays.' at this the meganium mother had perked up, the dolls brought back to her mind 'Really? Perhaps you could help me with something then' She said the doll predicament returning fresh to her mind 'recently me and my kids have gone through a bit of a scare. These dolls that resemble my daughters keep popping up near our house and it's gotten me worried. You may be able to recognise the makers' After quickly recounting the past weeks events she pulled the dolls out of her sack. Luckily she had not yet removed the dolls from her bag and therefore had brought them with her. The Leavanny's face flushed a bright red. 'Oh dear.' She said laughing nervously 'I do recognise them. They're one of my works. You see I was recently cleaning out the toys I still had tucked away in the attic from the old shop and I found those three that looked like your little girls, which I had remembered from when your daughters came over for that tea party a few weeks ago. I thought they might make a nice little surprise gift. A random act of kindness if you will but it seems they caused more harm than good. I'm so sorry for all of the trouble I caused you." The Levany looked down in worry as if she was waiting to be scolded but the mother only smiled in relief. The dolls that had troubled her so turned out to only be a gift of a neighbor trying to perform an act of generosity. She pulled the old pokemon into a hug "Thank you" The leavanny blinked in surprise before smiling herself. As they each pulled back the grandmother spoke up "I was actually planning to drop one more off today if you don't mind." She said reaching into her own bag and, after a moment, withdrawing a doll of a beautiful, wooden meganium." Prisma sat back with a soft smile letting the warm ending of her tale sink in.
(Sorry for the wait everyone ^w^; I hope it didn't cause too much trouble)

Prisma shook her head sadly "Still we shouldn't be so quick to jump to violence. All of the feral pokemon I've met in these woods haven't acted with such aggression towards trespassers," Looking up with an expression of contemplation she added "There must have been some reason for his behavior."
